A Binary Options Prop Firm (CProp) is a model where traders gain access to larger trading capital after proving their skills through a structured evaluation process.
Instead of trading with large personal funds, you participate in a challenge using a predefined balance and must meet specific performance and risk management rules. If you successfully complete all required steps, you can qualify for a funded account and earn rewards based on your performance.
The process typically includes the following stages:
• Evaluation Phase (Step 1 & Step 2):
You trade on a simulated and controlled account and must meet all performance requirements, not just the profit target.
Each step includes:
- A profit target that may vary by plan/package
- A minimum number of trading days that applies per step (this may also vary by plan/package)
- Trading days do not need to be consecutive
- A trading day is counted when a trade is closed, not opened. For example, if you open a trade today and it closes tomorrow, tomorrow will be counted as one trading day.
-
You must also follow the Trading Volume Consistency Rule:
- Your daily trading volume must not fall below your previous highest trading day.
- For example: if you trade a total volume of $100 on the first day, you must trade at least $100 on the following days. If your volume increases (e.g., $120), that becomes your new minimum for the remaining days.
Meeting the profit target alone is
not sufficient. All conditions must be fulfilled to pass each step.
Risk Management Rules
You must follow all rules, including:
- Maximum daily drawdown
- Maximum lifetime drawdown
- Trading Volume Consistency Rule
Please note that the
drawdown limits (both daily and lifetime), and other risk management rules
vary across different plans and packages. You should check the specific details of each plan before purchasing to ensure you are fully informed of the applicable limits.
Violating any of these rules will result in immediate account termination.
Funded Account
After successfully completing all steps, you can receive a funded account. At this stage, you become eligible to withdraw a portion of the profits generated on the funded account, with withdrawals available every
21 days.
The
portion of the profit you can withdraw may vary depending on the plan/package chosen. Please review the specific payout structure for your selected plan before purchasing.
All trading rules and limitations from the challenge phase, including drawdown limits, risk management rules, and trading conditions, continue to apply to the funded account. Failure to follow these rules may result in account termination.
Risks and Difficulty
Binary Options Prop Firm trading is highly challenging and is not suitable for all traders.
- Low success rate: Most participants do not complete the evaluation successfully. Consistent performance under strict rules is difficult, even for experienced traders.
- Strict rules and instant consequences: A single violation (such as exceeding drawdown limits) will immediately terminate your account.
- Performance pressure: You must balance profitability and risk control within limited time and conditions, which can be psychologically demanding.
- Market volatility: Binary options trading involves short-term price movements that can be unpredictable and fast-changing.
- No guaranteed outcome: There is no guarantee of passing the challenge, receiving a funded account, or making profits.
Risk Warning
Binary options trading is a
high-risk activity. You may lose part or all of your capital. Participation in prop trading challenges requires strong discipline, experience, and effective risk management.
Only participate if you fully understand the risks and are prepared for the possibility of failure.
